Abstract: A lot of attack of networks on the basis of ICMP protocol. This article introduces ICMP protocol at first, then probes the principle that the common network based on ICMP attacks, put forward the general tackling scheme of firewall in order to prevent and lighten the danger caused of this kind of attack finally.
